District 2 Bicycle Map | Miami, FL

Type: Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan

Size: Citywide (42,000 population, 15.5 sq. miles)

Status: In Progress

In collaboration with Green Mobility Network, Miami’s leading active transportation advocacy organization, Street Plans developed the City of Miami’s first bicycle map. The map, which focuses on Miami’s core neighborhoods is a project of District 2 City Commissioner Marc Sarnoff.

The creation and wide distribution of the map is intended to further raise the visibility of cycling and to assist Miami’s many existing and future bicyclists, including visitors and tourists.

The waterproof, foldable map includes safety information, major destinations, and existing bicycle routes, most of which have been implemented following the adoption of The Street Plan Collaborative’s City of Miami 2030 Bicycle Master Plan. The map is designed to eventually include other areas in the city and region currently being by planned by Street Plans, including Miami Beach and Coral Gables.
