Street Plans joined the City of San Marcos and Dover, Kohl & Partners in re-envisioning downtown utilizing tactical urbanism—yielding low cost/high gain, long-term change.
Street Plans worked alongside the Greenbelt Alliance and the Buena Vista Neighborhood Association to lead public workshops and create a 2-day demonstration project showing possibilities for better bike infrastructure.
The City hired Street Plans to lead the multi-part event, with the goal of engaging the community in brainstorming and creating a unique project in the West End of Portsmouth. Street Plans facilitated a design workshop and led the project implementation.
